Blackwood Manor is a parser-based text adventure set in a haunted Victorian mansion. You arrive at the crumbling estate of Lord Blackwood to claim an inheritance, only to discover the manor holds secrets far darker than a family fortune. Every room hides clues, puzzles, and dangers — and the house itself seems to shift when you're not looking.
The game features a rich vocabulary parser that understands natural language commands. Examine objects, open containers, combine items, and interact with the environment using plain English. The writing draws on classic gothic horror — atmospheric descriptions, unreliable narration, and a creeping sense that something is always watching. Multiple endings reward thorough exploration and clever puzzle-solving.
