About This Game
Forge Dice is a Yahtzee-style dice game where you roll five dice up to three times per turn, keeping the results you want and rerolling the rest. After your rolls, you must assign your result to one of 13 scoring categories — ones through sixes, three of a kind, four of a kind, full house, small straight, large straight, Yahtzee, and chance.
The strategy lies in knowing when to aim high and when to cut your losses. A strong opening roll might tempt you to go for Yahtzee, but a guaranteed Full House might be the smarter play. Each category can only be used once, so managing which scores to lock in early and which to save for later is critical to maximizing your total.
How to Play
- Roll all five dice to start your turn
- Click dice to hold them, then roll the remaining dice (up to 2 rerolls)
- After your rolls, assign the result to an open scoring category
- Upper section (1s-6s): sum of matching dice. Bonus 35 points for 63+ total
- Lower section: 3-of-a-kind, 4-of-a-kind, Full House (25), Straights (30/40), Yahtzee (50), Chance
- Highest total score after all 13 rounds wins
Tips & Strategy
Prioritize the upper section bonus (63 points) — aim for 3 of each number
Don't waste Yahtzee on a low category. The 50-point bonus is worth holding out for
Use Chance as a dump category for bad rolls instead of zeroing out a high-value category
Full House and Small Straight are reliable mid-game picks. Lock them in when available
