About This Game
Blackjack is a classic card game where the goal is simple: get as close to 21 as possible without going over, and beat the dealer's hand. This free version faithfully recreates the standard rules. You can hit (take another card), stand (keep your hand), double down (double your wager and take exactly one more card), or split pairs into two separate hands.
The game follows traditional rules: dealer stands on soft 17, a natural 21 pays 3:2, and insurance is offered when the dealer shows an Ace. Virtual chips let you practice strategy across multiple hands with no real money involved. The game tracks your chip count and session statistics — perfect for learning optimal play.
How to Play
- Place your bet before each hand
- You and the dealer each receive two cards — one of the dealer's is face-down
- Number cards are worth their face value. Face cards are 10. Aces are 1 or 11
- Hit to take another card, Stand to keep your hand
- Double Down to double your bet and receive exactly one more card
- Split pairs to play two separate hands. Beat the dealer to win
Tips & Strategy
Always stand on 17 or higher — the odds of busting are too high to hit
Always hit on 8 or less — you can't bust and any card improves your hand
Double down on 11 when the dealer shows 2-10 for maximum value
Never take insurance — statistically it loses more than it wins over time
