Cookie Crumble

Cookie Crumble is the story of Teresa, a young baker in a cow costume. She starts in a tiny home kitchen with one big dream: build the Moo Moo Cookies empire. You help her by matching cookies to fill orders. Clear enough orders and she earns upgrades — a stand mixer, an industrial oven, a whole delivery fleet. Each upgrade shows up in pixel art scenes, and there are seven of these milestone moments as she grows from a roadside stand to a global franchise.

The game uses match-3 rules, but with special cookies. Match four in a row to make a Striped cookie that wipes out a whole row or column. Make an L or T shape to get a Wrapped cookie that blows up a 3×3 area. Match five in a row for a Rainbow cookie that clears every cookie of one type. Swap two specials together for even bigger combos.

There are 60 hand-designed levels, plus more after that generated on the fly. Seven cookie types are in the mix, and an eighth unlocks at level 40. Chocolate-covered cells and Rush Hour orders keep things interesting. Every level gives you 1 to 3 stars based on your score. Each level you beat moves Teresa one step closer to cookie greatness.

Match-3 games go back to Shariki, a Russian game made by Eugene Alemzhin in 1994. It introduced the idea of swapping adjacent gems to match three in a row. Bejeweled from PopCap Games in 2001 brought that idea to players all over the world. Then Candy Crush Saga came out in 2012, made by King. It added level goals, limited moves, and special candy types — and turned a casual game into a billion-dollar mobile hit.

Cookie Crumble takes that same foundation and adds something most match-3 games skip: a real story. Every match you make is part of Teresa's bakery journey, not just a random gem swap. The three special cookies — Striped, Wrapped, and Rainbow — each work differently. Six ways to combine them exist, and the game rewards players who learn the system rather than just swiping at random.
